Mild Thursday with showers possible this weekend

Expect plenty of sunshine for the area Thursday with afternoon temperatures warming into the upper 70s to some lower 80s.

Winds will stay light Thursday, making for a very pleasant afternoon and evening. Winds increase tomorrow out of the south with gusts topping off in the mid-20s. This south wind will boost our temperatures into the mid- and some upper 80s.

A cold front approaches the area Friday night into Saturday bringing showers and cooler temperatures for the weekend. Highs on Saturday stay in the 70s with some areas staying in the 60s on Sunday.
