The University of Wisconsin-Superior honored employees receiving promotions or tenure Nov. 16 at the Promotion and Tenure Celebration and Social in the Yellowjacket Union Great Room.
First Lutheran Church hosts its lutefisk and Swedish meatball dinner 3-6 p.m. Saturday at the Port Wing Town Hall at the corner of Highway 13 and Grand Avenue. The menu includes lutefisk, white sauce, melted butter, Swedish meatballs, boiled potatoes, rutabagas, homemade lefsa, green beans, and a variety of salads and desserts. Copies of the First Lutheran cookbook are also available at the event for $15. The cost for the meal is $15 for lutefisk and $10 for meatballs only.
