The November 2021 $1 trillion infrastructure bill provides $5 billion to help states install EV chargers along interstate highways over five years. States now have access to more than $1.5 billion to help build EV chargers, USDOT said. The White House announced earlier this month it had approved 35 of the 50 state plans.

The family-owned and operated Twin Ports business is poised to benefit from a rebuilt interchange and Blatnik Bridge, which no longer can accommodate oversize loads.
The Wisconsin and Minnesota departments of transportation will seek $889.5 million from the federal government to put toward the 2028 bridge replacement project.
The closure will take place daily from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from Monday, Aug. 15, to Friday, Aug. 19.
