Highs will return to the 80s and 90s Saturday with scattered thunderstorms forecast to bring interruptions for some on Sunday.
Friday will be hot and sunny, but Saturday will bring rain and thunderstorms to parts of the region on this July weekend.
Dew points will be on the rise leading to muggy and hot weather heading into mid-July.
