MADISON (AP) -- A state agency that protects consumer rights reminds Packers fans to be cautious when buying game tickets online or through classified ads.
The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection says one buyer paid $4,000 for a season-ticket package. He never got the tickets, and the seller claimed the tickets must have gotten lost during delivery.
The department's Bureau of Consumer Protection suggests the following ways to protect yourself:
-- Have the seller fax you a copy of the actual tickets before you pay.
-- Pay by credit card, not cash or check. Before giving out your credit card number, be sure the seller is legitimate.

-- If you're buying a package deal, don't get on a plane without the official game tickets in hand.
