Thomas Shuldheisz, a sophomore from Andover, Minn., was named the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week in men's soccer.
The forward scored a goal and had two assists in the Yellowjackets' 5-2 victory over Northland College on Sept. 22. He also tallied a goal and an assist in Superior's 6-2 triumph over North Central University on Sept. 24.
Other UWS athletes nominated for weekly honors were: men's soccer player Dan Warnke, a sophomore defender from Burnsville, Minn.; Scott Behling, a freshman from Duluth East, and Natasha Hinzmann, a junior from Duluth Central, in cross country; and Samantha Blake, a senior volleyball player from Blaine, Minn.
