The host Eagles dropped the Indianhead Conference match 17-25, 25-21, 25-20, 25-20 at Sandy Spin Slade Gymnasium.

Muree Ahlberg was 10-for-11 serving and led the team with eight digs. Jori Gehl led the team with 11 kills and six blocks and Maddelyn Swanson added 5 kills and four digs.

Bailey Monson was 11-for-11 serving while adding three kills, and Izzy Molina added four blocks.

The Eagles close out the regular season with another Indianhead match Friday, Oct. 16, against Butternut before playoffs start Tuesday, Oct. 20.

“The girls fought tough and hard for every point tonight,” Solon Springs assistant coach Ciara Simenson said. “They played every point with a go-get-’em attitude. They progress with successes every match we play.”
