The Solon Springs High School volleyball team wrapped up Indianhead Conference play with a 3-0 (25-12. 25-11, 25-13) loss to the Hurly Northstars Thursday, Oct. 17, in the SSHS gym.

The Eagles were led by Jori Gehl’s five kills and Kyra Latvala’s nine set assists.

“We will continue to learn and grow and do our best as we end our season,” SSHS coach Melanie Gehl said. “They ladies have given their all. We can not count success on the scoreboard, we can as a team. What a great group of ladies both on and off the court.”

Solon Springs wraps up the regular season Saturday, Oct. 19, at the Shell Lake Tournament.

The Eagles are the No. 15 seed for the WIAA Division 4 tournament and play at No. 2 Washburn at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 22.

The winners plays the winner of Butternut-Hurley on Thursday, Oct. 24.
