The University of Wisconsin-Superior women's hockey team completed a two-game sweep of UW-Stevens Point in their NCHA quarterfinal series with a 2-0 victory Saturday afternoon at Wessman Arena.
The Yellowjackets, who won Friday's game 5-2, advance to next weekend's NCHA semifinals against an undermined opponent.
After two scoreless periods Saturday, Teagan Cassan and Jodi Holland scored in the third period for the only goals on Saturday.
Cassan was assisted by Brittany Dunkel at 9:27 and Holland got help from Ashlee Olson at 76:20.

UWS goaltender Melissa Kunzelman picked up the shutout with 26 saves.
D'Andra Phillips had 22 saves for UWSP.
Friday's Game
The 'Jackets jumped out to an early 3-0 lead in the first period and added two more in the third in Friday night's 5-2 win over the Pointers.
Katz led UWS with two goals and an assist. Torri Shelafoe, Ashley Martin and Holland also score for UWS, which outshot UWSP 28-26.
Brooke Hanson and Jessica Edward scored Stevens Point.
Kunzelman finished with 24 saves for the Yellowjackets and Phillips had 23 for the Pointers.
