UWS to host youth basketball camp

The University of Wisconsin-Superior men's basketball team will be hosting a fundamental skills camp July 18-21 at Mertz Mortorelli Gym on the UWS campus.

The University of Wisconsin-Superior men's basketball team will be hosting a fundamental skills camp July 18-21 at Mertz Mortorelli Gym on the UWS campus.

The camp is designed to teach players the fundamental skills necessary to help them improve all facets of their game. The drills are introduced and taught based on skill level, with the primary focus on teaching each camper how to become a better basketball player.

Various teaching lectures and a variety of drills will give each camper the tools needed to reach their full potential as a basketball player.

Camp I is for boys in grades 1-4 and will run from 9 a.m. to noon.

Camp II is for boys in grades 5-8 and will run from 1 to 4 p.m.

The cost for both camps is $75.
