Minnesota Duluth will face Union College of Schenectady, N.Y., at 2 p.m. Friday in the NCAA Division I men's hockey East Regional semifinals in Bridgeport, Conn.
Union 26-9-4 was ranked No. 8 in PairWise, UMD 22-10-6 No. 9.
Top-seed Yale meets Air Force in second game in East Regional.
Union won the ECAC title and was 14-1-1 the last 16 games of regular season before losing to Colgate in three games in the ECAC quarterfinals.
UMD is 6-0-1 lifetime vs. Union.
