The Tigers were led by Brooke Ogren’s seven kills and 13 digs and Maddie Rossmann’s 10 assists.

“Obviously, it was a back-and-forth match momentum wise,” NHS coach Charlie Hessel said. “I feel like we covered the court very well. As a team, we had 55 digs and that’s a huge improvement from Tuesday night. We also weren’t as consistent at the net, but we took some big strides tonight. Hopefully, we can continue that on Tuesday at Glenwood City.”

Northwestern plays at Glenwood City at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 4.

TIGER TALES: The NHS JV won 3-0 (25-20, 25-12, 25-20).
