In the first quarter Thursday, Northwestern's post players gave the Tigers a big lead early. After winning the tip but missing its first two shots, Northwestern got on the board when center Donnie Hissa blocked a shot and converted on a three-point play on the other end. Two plays later, John Darwin came up with a steal and Timmy Follis cut back door for a 5-0 lead. Two more inside shot, from Hissa and Darwin, gave Northwestern a 9-0 lead despite battling turnovers early.

Chetek's Jake Nicholson scored the Bulldog's lone field goal when he went up strong inside and hit the extra free throw for a three-point play.

Chetek continued to struggle in the third quarter, but in the fourth the Bulldogs more than tripled their score to end the night down 55-25.
