Low scores for Northwestern were Kamry Gary, 53; Kristine Britton, 56; and Marissa Delvas, Lyndi Graff and Jennifer Thul, 58s.

“The weather was cool but it was sunny and very little wind,” NHS coach Gary Swanson said. “The Cumberland Golf Club is in beautiful condition with the greens in perfect shape. So the high scores were a bit of a surprise for me.

“I didn’t feel the course was playing that difficult. We will need to shore things up a bit before conference next week.”

The Tigers play Superior and Luck at 4 p.m. Thursday at the Nemadji Golf Course. NHS then hosts Barron and Chetek at 4 p.m. Monday at Botten’s Green Acres in Lake Nebagamon.
