With the future of Wisconsin's high school spring sports season still up in the air, the Telegram is throwing it back to last season to feature students who played spring sports as juniors.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Gov. Tony Evers issued a “Safer at Home” executive order on March 13, and ordered schools in Wisconsin to close until at least April 24.

The Superior High School girls soccer team was scheduled to start practicing for the 2020 season on Monday, March 23, and play its first game at Hayward on Tuesday, March 31.

The Spartans and Hurricanes played to a 2-2 tie in last year's opener on April 4, 2019.

The Spartans have already had seven games either canceled or postponed.

There are 12 games remaining in Superior’s season starting with Chippewa Falls on Tuesday, April 28.

The WIAA playoffs are scheduled to begin on Tuesday, June 2.

Editor's note: The Telegram is not able to feature every senior on every spring sports team as we're limited to the photos we have from 2019.
