The Superior High School football team will host the Ashwaubenon Jaguars in a WIAA Division 2 Level 2 playoff game at 2 p.m. Saturday at the NBC Spartan Sports Complex.
According to SHS activities director Ray Kosey, Ashwaubenon agreed on Saturday morning to come to Superior for a 7 p.m. game Friday. On Sunday morning SHS and the WIAA received an email from Ashwaubenon saying they were getting concerns from their administration for traveling to Superior on Friday and requested the game be played at Rice Lake at 2 p.m. Saturday as originally offered.
“Our response was we understand the travel on a Friday, but feel since the site was agreed to be in Superior it should stay in Superior,” Kosey said. “Ashwaubenon agreed to Saturday, and the WIAA has confirmed the game will be moved to 2 p.m. Saturday.”

SHS will presell tickets from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday in the activities office, B-1. Tickets cost is $4 for children, students, adults and senior citizens and $1 for children five-and-under.
To get to office B-1 enter the back of SHS through door 11.
Gates open at 12:45 p.m.
