Superior Reds and Blues will host tournaments this weekend

The Superior Reds and Superior Blues will be hosting baseball tournaments this weekend at Morrie Arnovich Field and the NBC Spartan Sports Complex.

The Reds will be joined by West Duluth, Ashland, Moose Lake and Prior Lake in an American Legion tournament.

Each team will play four games beginning with West Duluth vs. Ashland at 3:20 p.m. today at Morrie Arnovich Field.

The Reds open against Moose Lake at 4:30 p.m. today at the NBC Spartan Sports Complex.

The Blues will be competing in a Junior Legion tournament against Esko, Duluth Marshall, Duluth East, Spooner, Chippewa Falls, St. Michael-Albertville and West Duluth.

Teams will play three pool games with the top teams in each pool meeting for the championship at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the NBC Spartan Sports Complex.
