The Superior High School girls tennis team picked up its first win over the season with a 4-3 victory over Cloquet-Esko-Carlton Tuesday in Cloquet.
For the Spartans, Hannah Thul, Mystic Raddatz and Emma Ferrando won singles matches and Haley McLennan and Maddy Graham won in doubles.
Thul defeated Lindsey Lamirande 6-0, 3-6, 6-0; Raddatz won 6-4, 0-6, 6-0 over Autumn Moynan, and Ferrando swept Michelle Jokinen, 6-3, 7-5.

McLennan and Graham also won in straight sets, 6-2, 6-1 over Bijou Towne and Jeena Prouly.
The Spartans play at Ashland at 4:15 p.m. Monday and host Duluth East at 4 p.m. Tuesday.
