The Superior Classic Softball League All-Stars struck for 11 runs in the 11th inning to take a 19-8 win from the league-leading Capri Bar. The big blow in the inning was a double by Dick Raymond. Tom Liebaert hammered three hits for the stars and Gerry Maas, Curt Lahti and Pat Longrie each slammed two hits. (1966)
Mike Hennessy was a power at the plate and Don Soderberg hurled a four-hitter to lead the Three-Star Lanes to an 8-0 win over the Vasa Bar to maintain its two-game lead in teh Superior Classic Softball League standings. Hennessy hit three home runs good for seven of the Three-Star tallies. The leaders have won eight of nine games. (1967)
