Six players were ejected on disqualification penalties in a physical hockey game won by UW-Superior 10-8 over the Illinois-Chicago Circle Chikas. UWS coach Gary Harker had some line-up juggling to do after forwards Scott VanDamme and Jeff Krensing and defenders Mark Meagher and Mike Jago were sent to the showers early by the referees. VanDamme, Dave Selissen and Mike Hendrickson led the Yellowjacket scoring parade with two goals each. (1978).
