The Tigers rebounded from a pair defeats at the Poynette Tournament on Saturday with a 14-0, five-inning win at Chetek-Weyerhaeuser Tuesday, May 7.

Allison Luoma tossed a one-hitter over four innings with eight strikeouts and one walk to pick up the win.

Luoma walked the lead-off batter in the first inning, but the runner was thrown out attempting to steal second base. She then retired eight of the next nine batters before allowing a Madison Haas single to lead off the fourth inning.

Luoma retired the next three batters before Brecken Oswskey struck out two of the three batters she faced in the fifth inning.

The Tigers had 14 hits, led by Kennedy Nelson, who had a double, two singles and three RBIs; Karsyn Jones, triple, single and two RBIs; Tayva Plasch, double and single; Oswskey, two hits and two runs scored; and Mac Correll, was 3-for-3 with an RBI and three runs scored.

The Tigers host Spooner at 5 p.m. Thursday, May 9, and Ladysmith for two games beginning at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 11.
