A combination of injuries and the flu left the New Jersey Devils a little undermanned.
To help fill in the Devils recalled RW Mike Sislo from Albany in the AHL.
The former Superior Spartan played a little over 15 minutes and had one shot on goal in a 5-3 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs on Dec. 4.
Sislo has also played regular shift in games against the Washington Capitals, Carolina Hurricanes and the Chicago Blackhawks.
This is his second stint with New Jersey this season. He also played in two games in November and recorded his first NHL point with an assist against the St. Louis Blues on Nov. 14.

Sislo and the Devils (11-14-5) lost 4-1 at Philadelphia (10-13-5) Thursday night. He was listed as being on the fourth line along with Jordin Tootoo and Tuomo Ruutu.
Mike is the son of Buddy and Karen (Gotelaere) Sislo.
