SHS honors top athletes

Superior High School handed out its annual athletic awards at the SHS Honors Night May 31 in the Performing Arts Center.

Blake Graskey and Justin Reinkall were named the Packy Paquette Male Athletes of the year and Samantha Young is the Spartan Female Athlete of the Year.

Madison Newman and Samuel Kline are the WIAA Scholar Athletes as well as the Frank Cirilli Female Scholar Athlete of the Year and Frank Cirilli Male Scholar Athlete of the Year, respectively.

This past season Graskey played football and basketball, Reinkall played basketball and baseball and Young played on the girls hockey and soccer teams.

Newman was a three-sport athlete, participating in basketball, soccer and cross country, while Kline played football and was on the track team.
