The Superior over 35 softball league concluded the 2020 regular season Wednesday, Aug. 26 with Schultz’s Sports Bar claiming the regular season title with a perfect 14-0 record.
With the regular season title, Schultz’s earned the No. 1 seed in the 8-team double elimination tournament that will take place Saturday, Aug. 29 and Sunday, Aug. 30 at the 58th street softball complex in South Superior. First round action starts at 10 a.m. Saturday with the championship bracket to be played on Sunday.
The championship game is slated for noon on Sunday.
First round match-ups include No. 2 seed Caddy Shack vs. No. 7 seed Jack’s, and No. 3 seed Oil Quick USA vs. No. 6 seed Anchor Bar at 10 a.m.
The 11 a.m. games will feature No. 4 seed Jimmy’s Saloon vs. No. 5 seed Keyport, and No. 1 seed Schultz’s vs. No. 8 seed Mike’s Place.
