Superior won 2-of-3 divisions in the 45th annual Duluth-Superior Men’s All-Star Bowling Challenge Sunday, Feb. 10, at Landmark Lanes in Superior.
Superior won the Open Division (3,338-3,022), and the Super Senior Division (2,199-2,174).
Duluth won the Senior Division (2,992-2,675).
Erik Gulbrandson had the high series on the day with a 732 in Superior’s Open Division win. Brian Wallin added a 654 and Pat Erickson a 652. Duluth’s high score was a 614 by Mike Sorenson.
Steve Freeman bowled the second-highest series of 681 in Duluth’s win in the Senior Division.
Duluth now leads the Open Division all-time series with Superior, 25-20. The Senior Division is tied 9-9, and Duluth’s lead in the Super Senior Division is now 2-1.
