Prep report: Northwestern baseball rolls past Cumberland
Both Solon Springs teams clinched conference championships on Tuesday.

Luke Sedin recorded three hits, including a double and a two-run home run as Northwestern rolled past Cumberland 14-8 in Heart O'North baseball on Tuesday, May 18.
Tyler Nelson was the winning pitcher and had a pair of hits. Kole Paulsen doubled, tripled and scored twice, and Trevor Elias had a pair of hits and scored twice.

Northwood/Solon Springs 16, Prairie Farm 1
N/SS clinched the Lakeland-East conference title behind a one-hitter from pitcher Zoey Vaara, who also went 2-for-3 and drove in four runs. Annika Patrick had a pair of hits and an RBI.

Superior 4, Hermantown 0
Robert Olson threw a five-hit shutout for the Spartans, striking out seven. Nathan Maki had a pair of hits and an RBI for Superior.
Northwood/Solon Springs 4, Prairie Farm 0
Abe Ahlberg threw his second no-hitter of the year, and the team's fifth of the year, and struck out 15. He homered for the fourth time in five games.
