Prep boys basketball: Eagles aim for conference title

"We have a solid roster with a chance to have a very good season and we would like to be in the mix for a conference championship this year," coach Marcus Besonen said.

Returning players: Senior Carson Kaunonen and juniors Owen Smith, Dylan Taggart, Tarver Sellwood, Kaden Corlett, Abe Ahlberg and Isaiah Kastern.

What are the team's strengths?

"Our strengths would be our experience of returners, our well rounded makeup, and we should have good depth," coach Marcus Besonen said.

Where can the team improve?

"Our weakness could be our consistency from the 3-point line," Besonen said.

What will be the team's biggest challenge this season?

"Our biggest challenge could be managing expectations and never looking ahead as we have a good team with high expectations," Besonen said.
