Northwestern defeated Chetek-Weyerhauser 6-2 in high school softball Tuesday, May, 11, in Brule.
The Tigers improved to 8-1 overall this season and 7-1 in Heart O' North Conference play while the Bulldogs fell to 1-4, 1-4. No further game details were available Tuesday.

Northwood/Solon Springs improves to 7-0
Junior Zoey Vaara didn’t allow an earned run as Northwood/Solon Springs stayed unbeaten with a 6-1 victory over Shell Lake on Monday, May 10, in Solon Springs.
Vaara scattered four hits, with five strikeouts and no walks.
Teammate Kayla Schultz had two hits, a run and two RBIs, Izzy Golembiewski had two hits, including a double and two runs and Muree Ahlberg had a solo home run for Northwood/Solon Springs (7-0).
