Prep soccer: Superior’s Kidd named to all-state team

Repeat selection led Spartans with 16 goals and five assists.

Superior junior forward Jake Kidd has been named to the Wisconsin Soccer Coaches Association All-State Team, announced Wednesday, Nov. 18.

Kidd is a repeat all-state selection who finished with 16 goals and five assists in just nine games, tying for 18th in goals in Wisconsin despite playing an abbreviated schedule.

Kidd, a three-year varsity regular and All-Lake Superior Conference First Team honoree, finished with 34 goals and 13 assists in 18 games as a sophomore.
