Coach: Doug Trentor, second season

Returning players: Senior captain Callie Holmlund; sophomore assistant captain Autumn Cooper; seniors Keely Morehouse, Lily Walrath, Gabrielle Siers and Emily Berka; juniors Indigo Fish, Grace Hansen and Brooke Lindbergh, and sophomore goalie Kali Williams.

New faces to watch: Freshmen Alivia Visgar, Isabella Thompson, Kenlyn Thimm, Katie Stamper, Kennedy Popplewell, Gabryel Olson, Emma Ferg, Audrah Lambert and goaltender Kaylie Nault.

Challenges: The Spartans are excited about an influx of young talent, but the team will be very young and inexperienced. One of the challenges will be preparing the younger players for the speed and rigor of the varsity level.

Strengths: Among the strengths are the team’s collective skating ability, hockey IQ and camaraderie on and off the ice.
