Senior guard Luke Healy had 16 points as four Hudson players reached double figures in scoring as the Raiders downed Superior 62-51 in nonconference high school boys basketball Friday night, Feb. 5, in Superior.
Hudson (12-5) snapped a two-game losing skid with the win after having won 11 straight before that.
Kaden Kimmes had 16 points to lead the Spartans (5-6) while Johnny Rhodes added nine.
“We played well, but that’s a very good team,” Superior coach Jake Smith said. “They were very balanced.”

Senior guard Harrison Nelson scored 16 points as the Tigers rolled to the Heart O’ North Conference victory Thursday, Feb. 4, in Bloomer, Wisconsin.
Monte Mayberry (14 points), Bennett Nelson (10), Jase Nelson (10) and Evan Moreau (10) all reached double figures in scoring for Northwestern (13-6 overall, 11-2 HON), which had six players combine to drain 11 3-pointers.
Connor Crane had 17 points to lead Bloomer (5-6, 5-6).

Brynn Erickson had 19 points and 10 rebounds as the Tigers jumped out to a 38-20 halftime lead in cruising to the Heart O’ North Conference girls high school basketball victory Friday, Feb. 5, in Maple, snapping the Blackhawks’ eight-game winning streak.
Sophomore guard Tieryn Plasch scored 14 points but also showed she is more than just a scorer, establishing a school record with 14 assists for Northwestern (13-3 overall, 12-2 HON). Allison Luoma and Kendall Sletten added 16 and 12 points, respectively.
Freshman post player Danielle Latz had 17 points to lead the Blackhawks (10-7) while teammates Abigail Iverson (13 points) and Leah Score (12) also reached double figures in scoring.
