A pair of co-workers from Husky Refinery met up Monday, March 29, after work to battle on the pickleball court at Central Park in Superior.
Tim Cyr and Oscar Toftegaard, both of Duluth, took advantage of the nice weather to play on the new pickleball court.
"We tried playing here last year, but there were so many cracks. This is really nice," Cyr said.
Over 20 people played basketball on the new court next to the pickleball court, which was once located on two of the tennis courts.

Jed Carlson joined the Superior Telegram in February 2001 as a photographer. He grew up in Willmar, Minnesota. He graduated from Ridgewater Community College in Willmar, then from Minnesota State Moorhead with a major in mass communications with an emphasis in photojournalism.
