GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -- Green Bay wide receiver James Jones is active for Monday night's game against the Chicago Bears after missing the last two weeks with a left knee, a rare bit of good injury news for the battered Packers.
The return of Jones, who caught three touchdown passes in last year's 21-13 victory in Chicago, helps Green Bay's injury-depleted offense. Tight end Jermichael Finley (neck) and receiver Randall Cobb (leg) are still out, as is sackmaster Clay Matthews. Linebacker Nick Perry; defensive ends C.J. Wilson and Josh Boyd; cornerback James Nixon and wide receiver Chris Harper also are inactive.
Jay Cutler and Lance Briggs are among Chicago's inactives. Cutler (groin) will miss about a month and Briggs (shoulder) is expected to be out six weeks. WR Joe Anderson; tackles James Brown and Jonathan Scott; DE Cornelius Washington; and DT tackle Zach Minter are Chicago's other inactives.
