Learn to cross country ski on the Afterhours Ski Trail in Brule from 12:30-3 p.m. Feb. 1.
Free lessons will be offered for both children and adults in both the classic and skate styles. Ski equipment is available to rent for those who register by Jan. 30. The free lessons are sponsored by the Brule Valley Ski Club, Brule River State Forest and Brule Lion's Club. The Afterhours trailhead and parking lot are just south of U.S. Highway 2 on After Hours Road, the first road west of the Brule River.
