The University of Wisconsin-Superior men’s soccer team got four goals from four different players in a 4-1 victory over Hamline on Friday, Sept. 13, at the NBC Spartan Sports Complex.
Blake Doyea and Galen Coy scored in the first half and Eric Watson and Blake Perry scored in the second for the Yellowjackets, now 4-1 on the season.
UWS goalkeeper Dalton VonKaenel made one save, but had his shutout bid spoiled when Logan Weller blasted one over his outstretched arms in the 89th minute.
The 'Jackets outshot Hamline 18-2 for the game and had five corner kicks to the Pipers' two.

On Friday, UWS lost 25-12, 25-9, 25-14 to St. Benedict and 26-28, 25-12, 25-23, 23-25, 15-13 to Hamline.
Sletta had a team-high 13 kills against Hamline while Brylee Colligan and Gina Baertsch each chipped in 12.
