University of Wisconsin-Superior Athletics, in partnership with Essentia Health and Sports Medicine, hosts a sports performance camp over the summer for high school and youth athletes.
The camp, with sessions every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday over a four- or six-week period, will help elevate an athlete’s speed, strength and performance.
Three sessions will be offered throughout the summer: one exclusively for boys, one exclusively for girls and one that is co-ed.
The session for girls runs 9-10:30 a.m., followed by the session for boys 10:30 a.m. to noon, and the co-ed session 12:30-2 p.m.
The six-week camp sessions begin Tuesday, June 18, and run through Aug. 1. There will not be sessions July 2-4. The four-week camp sessions begin July 9 and will run through Aug. 1. All sessions will be hosted on the UW-Superior campus in the Marcovich Wellness Center.
The cost to attend the six-week camp is $250 and $200 for the four-week camp, which covers all sessions and a free T-shirt. Register at strengthandconditioning.yellowjacketcamps.com.
