The Northwood Evergreens moved easily through the first round of the WIAA Division 5 playoffs with a 92-11 victory over Lac Courte Oreilles Tuesday night at Minong.
Multiple Evergreens scored in double figures as Northwood took the opportunity to play its full roster.
Northwood now moves on to play either Frederic or Birchwood Friday at Northwood School in Minong. The winner of Friday's game goes on to play in the regional finals at 7 p.m. Saturday in Cumberland. No. 1-seeded Siren is expected to be the opponent in that game.
