The Northwestern High School football team kept its playoff hopes alive Friday with a 28-15 victory over Ladysmith.
The Tigers, who wrap up the regular season Friday with a game against Barron in Maple, improved to 3-3 in the Heart O’ North Conference and 4-4 overall.
Nate Pearson finished with 270 yards rushing, and Micah Goetsch added 73 yards. Each player scored two touchdowns for Northwestern.
For the night the Tigers had 386 yards of offense, all on the ground. Ladysmith finished with 115 yards passing and 62 yards rushing.
