The Northwestern Tigers boys golf team finished seventh at Wednesday's Somerset Invitational, who was played at Bristol Ridge.
Unity won the team event with a score of 320. The Tigers finished with a 353 in the 20-team event.
Northwestern's Justin Alexson was the meet medalist with a 75. The Tigers also got an 88 from Gabe Dinkel, 95s from Ian Lattery and Peter Lindsay and 108 from Ryan Garay.
"Except for Justin's score, the golf course kind of beat us up," NHS coach Gary Swanson said. "But I know the boys learned a lot from this experience. It was a fun trip all the way around.
"I was really happy for Justin. He's been working very hard with some swing adjustments. Today was the first time this season I really felt he was able to trust his mechanics and just play."
