NHS wins HON sportsmanship award

The Northwestern High School athletic department was named the Heart O' North Conference Sportsmanship winner for the 2009 spring sports season.

The Tigers were individual winners of the award in boys golf and boys track, second in baseball and third in girls track.

Ladysmith was second overall among the eight-school conference and Cumberland was third.
