The Northwestern volleyball team celebrated "Parent's Night" with a 3-1 victory over the Cumberland Beavers Tuesday night in the NHS gym in Maple.
The Tigers cruised to wins of 25-16 and 25-13 in the first two games before the Beavers turned things around and won game three 25-17.
The fourth game was a back-and-forth affair before the Tigers pulled out a 25-22 win. The game was tied 20-20 when Erin Gotelaere and Lynsey Antilla served Northwestern to the victory.
Ally May led the way for Northwestern with 20 kills and eight digs. Alie Larson chipped in with 10 kills, Sarah Miller had 12 digs and Brooke Pearson dished out 19 set assists.
Before the match. parents of Northwestern's senior players were honored. Seniors on this year's Tiger squad are Antilla, Molly Konczak, May and Miller.
