More than 40 youth participate in Spartan Tennis Camp

The NBC Spartan Sports Complex was the site of the Spartan Tennis Camp, which included around 40 participants ranging first to eighth grades.

The camp, which included 16 hours of instruction over a two-week period, was conducted by coaches Barry Dahl and Mark Winkle, with the help of 16 volunteer coaches, including high school players, college players and parents.

Proceeds from the camp will be used to further develop tennis opportunities in Superior.

The camp was sponsored by Network to Enhance Tennis in Superior and Superior High School.
