The Kom-On-Inn dart tournament, to raise funds and awareness for Life House, will be held from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday at the Kom-On-Inn Bar and Lounge in Duluth.
Life House works with local homeless youth to help them find safe housing and access services to help them live independently. Life House also provides homeless and at-risk youth immediate access to emergency needs such as food, shelter, basic health care, life skills development, and "one-on-one" support services in education, employment and positive health.
Life House is the only drop-in center for homeless youth in Northeastern Minnesota, helping up to 600 at-risk youth each year break the cycles of poverty, homelessness, and abuse.
The dart tournament is open to all skill levels, with participants competing for fun and prizes. Tournament registration is $10 per person and can be done in advance at the Kom-On-Inn.
In addition to the dart tournament, the event will feature a raffle drawing for prizes and the Kom-On-Inn's taco bar for only $5. Raffle tickets are $1 each and can be purchased in advance at Life House. All proceeds will benefit Life House.
