Hunter education and firearms safety classes are planned for August at the Richard I. Bong Veterans Center in Superior.
Registration takes place Aug. 15, with classes running 5:30-8:30 p.m. Aug. 20, 22 and 24 and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 25.
This class is open to Wisconsin and Minnesota students and will satisfy the requirement to have this class to purchase a hunting license in either state.
The cost is $10. The classes are limited to 20 students, so reserve a spot by calling Dwight at 218-626-3304. Leave a message if there is no answer. There is no age limit but students ages 10 years and older are preferred.
