Superior's Amber Holt accounted for all of her team's scoring Thursday as the Spartans defeated New Richmond 3-1 at the Superior High School soccer fields.
Holt scored her first goal just 55 seconds into the game, with the assist going to Bridget Manion. About three minutes later Holt scored unassisted to give Superior a 2-0 lead.
New Richmond scored its only goal two and a half minutes into the second half, and Holt finished up the scoring at 66:54, assisted by Cassie Hanson.
Sara Balcer had seven saves to get the win in goal, and Tigers goalkeeper Catalina Prada-Hernandez. finished with 10 saves.
Superior stands at 8-6-1 overall and 8-3-1 in the Middle Border Conference. New Richmond is 4-10-2 overall and 4-6-2 in the conference.

The SHS junior varsity team also won Thursday, defeating New Richmond 3-0.
