Goaltender Jack Bostedt totaled 44 saves in St. Scholastica’s 3-1 nonconference victory over St. John’s on Wednesday night in Collegeville, Minnesota, snapping the Saints’ four-game losing streak to begin the season.

Carson Rose scored midway through the first period and Boe Bjorge and Riley Bechard tacked on goals 100 seconds apart in the second period to give CSS (1-4) a 3-0 lead.

Tanner Dufault’s goal at 14:40 of the second marked the only time Bostedt was beaten. Bostedt made 15 saves in the opening session, 13 in the second and 16 in the final period.

Mac Berglove stopped 26 shots for the Johnnies (3-2).
