In a battle of winless teams in the Heart O'North Conference, it was Ladysmith that came out on top.
The Lumberjacks rallied from an early 10-point deficit and held off a late Barron rally to earn the 21-16 victory on Friday in Ladysmith.
"It was a rough start. It was a back-and-forth game," Ladysmith coach Woody Keeble said. "They really played well tonight. (Jason Prince) just did a great job of getting open."
Prince was the hero of the day for the Lumberjacks, hauling in a pair of 62-yard touchdowns and capping the game with a 5-yard touchdown run to seal the victory.
Eric Holten and Cody Penck each scored touchdowns for Barron, which opened the game with a safety after a Ladysmith punt attempt was snapped out of the end zone.
