The St. Scholastica women and Wisconsin-Superior men dominated the UMAC golf tournament Saturday at Pebble Creek Golf Club in Becker, Minnesota.
Led by medalist Olivia Wright, the Saints finished with a 54-over total of 1,035 to win the team title by 112 strokes over Northwestern. UWS was fourth.
Wright won the 54-hole tournament with a 35-over total of 251, four shots ahead of teammate Hannah Johnson. St. Scholastica’s Anna Lindemann was third.
The Yellowjackets, led by medalist Ryan Peterson, won the men’s title by 63 shots over Northwestern. St. Scholastica placed fifth.
Peterson shot a 4-under-par 68 Saturday to finish 5-under for the tournament and ease to the individual championship by 14 strokes over Minnesota-Morris’ Brady Raph.
