The St. Scholastica women captured the season-opening Twin Ports Collegiate title for a fourth consecutive year Saturday at Nemadji Golf Course, while the Wisconsin-Superior men also won.

The Saints beat Wisconsin-Eau Claire by seven strokes as CSS junior Hannah Johnson shattered a program-record with a 2-over-par 73 to earn medalist honors with a 36-hole total of 8-over 151.

UWS was fourth in the women’s field, but the Yellowjackets edged St. Mary’s by five shots in the men’s tournament.

UWS fired a 5-over 289 in the final round to hold off the Cardinals. Junior Sam Albrecht of Gilbert was second overall behind St. Mary’s Bryce Galewski, who blistered the 6,319-yard course with a 65 to run away with medalist honors.

St. Scholastica finished third, 13 strokes behind St. Mary’s.
