The Nemadji Celebrity Scramble is scheduled for Saturday, July 6, at the Nemadji Golf Course. The event will help raise funds for “Baby Viona’s” family and the Twin Ports Junior Golf Fund.
Celebrities scheduled to take part in the event include former Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers quarterback Jim McMahon; former Milwaukee Brewer shortstop Pat Listasch, former Packer Darrell Thompson; former Minnesota Vikings’ Henry Thomas, John Randle, Leo Lewis, Ted Brown, Tommy Kramer, Rickey Young, Robert Griffith, Byron Chamberlain, Esera Tuaolo, Tuineau Alipate, Carl Lee, Vencie Glenn, Brian Williams and Doug Southerland.
Also on hand will be former Chicago Blackhawk and UMD Bulldog Bill Watson and former Northwestern Tiger, Wisconsin Badger and Arizona Cardinal Tom Burke.
The event will help raise funds to help “Baby Viona’s" family and Twin Ports Junior Golf Fund at NGC.
Following the five-person 18- and 9-hole scrambles, there will be a steak dinner at 6:30 p.m., followed by a free outdoor concert from 7:30-10 p.m. in the Nemadji parking lot. The music will be provided by SFO, a Journey tribute band.
